NATO Industry Advisory Group in Riga
On June 13-15, 2023, FSDI Latvia organized for the first time the NATO Industry Advisory Group (NIAG) in Riga.
Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Defence and its members, FSDI Latvia had a great responsibility to welcome alliance and industry leaders to the capital on its tenth anniversary. It was a unique opportunity to introduce the high guests to the products and services achieved by the Latvian defence industry, industry and researchers, as well as innovations, research and new consortia ideas, as well as strategic investment opportunities.
On June 13, a special National Day was organized, within the framework of which we invite companies and research institutions to demonstrate their developments. But the other days – 14 and 15 June – NIAG plenary sessions were held with a broad and up-to-date agenda to address current and future security challenges.
NIAG is a high-level consultative and consultative body composed of industry representatives of NATO member states and operating under the auspices of the Conference of National Armaments Directors (CNAD).
