The target of Industry Days 2017 is to inform entrepreneurs about defence sector procurement plans for the nearest future, listen to industries’ representatives and researchers regarding their views regarding new military or dual use product and services development, as well as to promote dialogue between defence sector and Latvian producers about their ability to participate in development of capabilities and maintenance of National Armed Forces of Latvia. Participants and international colleagues are kindly welcome to gain information about opportunities to cooperate with NATO agencies and as well as separate procurement agencies of allies.
The first day, March the 2nd would be mainly dedicated to the work in separate sectorial syndicates where defence sector experts would inform about concrete defence capability needs. The working language would be Latvian. Following syndicates are planned:

• Individual and collective equipment
• Ammunition
• Military transport
• Communication systems
• Development of new military capabilities and future needs  
• Building
• Food procurements

During the 2nd day, March the 3rd entrepreneurs will be introduced with work organisation of procurement specialists of NATO Support Agency (NSPA), NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) and US armed forces to learn more about potential cooperation areas.

Industry Days 2017 is a great opportunity to learn from the primary source about actual needs of defence sector, to learn onsite with possible specifications of the procurements planned as well as to evaluate own abilities offering solutions for development of military capabilities or creation of innovation.
